Operation Honor is a program that seeks to repay some of the sacrifices made by Veterans. Far too many Veterans have been injured and lost limbs while serving. These warriors sometimes have multiple prosthetic devices that are all too often tossed in the corner or the back of the closet- because there is no place to store them. Operation honor wishes to give every veteran that wants one- a respectful and dignified place to store these devices. It is our goal to provide these cabinets completely free of charge (including shipping, assembly and delivery).
Our mission is to provide beautiful hand-crafted, high quality customizable wooden cabinets to all deserving Veterans. Through a special arrangement with a renowned European designer Operation Honor will be able to provide a customizable cabinet, shipping, assembly and delivery. These beautiful cabinets have a retail value of $10,000- ensuring that the Veteran will have a beautiful storage place for their prosthetic devices. The cabinets are 80” tall, 36” wide and 20” deep. The Veteran will have many choices when selecting their cabinet- they can have their name and rank engraved, there are numerous wood and color combinations and they may have branch of service or patriotic plaques added. In addition the inside of the cabinet can be customized to fit their specific needs. We realize that some Veterans may have difficulty assembling or installing the cabinets in their homes, so Operation Honor has partnered with the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars to assemble and deliver these cabinets to each home.
So, who pays for these beautiful cabinets? That is where Operation Honor needs a lot of help. We need sponsors and supporters to cover the costs. We also need people to spread the word so that Veterans can get these cabinets. Please consider helping. Purchase a cabinet so that these deserving Veterans can know how much they are honored. Far too many Veterans don't feel appreciated or cared for and sometimes are overcome with depression and emptiness. If in any small way these cabinets can convey the appreciation America holds for them and show them every day that we care- then Operation Honor will be a huge success!!
